April 6, 2007

Under the Worker Protection Standard, all pesticide applicators, regardless of license category or site of application (ag crops, turfgrass, exterminators, etc.) are allowed to wear disposal, cotton liners inside chemical resistant gloves.

The liners must not extend beyond the length of the glove and must be disposed of after 10 hours of use or whenever they are contaminated. Cotton liners are more comfortable to wear and its hoped that their use will encourage greater use of chemical-resistant gloves.
