Workshop Explores Converting Irrigated Land To Dryland

A Feb. 27 workshop in Wray, Colorado will explore the conversion of irrigated farmland to rainfed farmland. Speakers with research and practical experience on reclaiming lands will share insights on some of the obstacles and how to overcome them.

This workshop will be held at the Senior Center at the intersection of 7th and Grant streets. Registration, coffee, and rolls will begin at 9:30 am with the workshop held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ample time will be available to discuss experiences and ask questions.
