Crop Water Use App Developed for Nebraska Soils - UNL CropWatch, Nov. 30, 2012

A new crop water app developed by UNL Extension can estimate soil water status based on Watermark sensors installed at depths of 1, 2, and 3 feet. Using sensor readings from your fields, the app will estimate the water used as well as how much water is still available in the soil. Users also can see historic sensor readings and graph the data.

UNL developed the Crop Water app for iPhone and iPad at the request of Nebraska Agricultural Water Management Network (NAWMN) participants. Download the app from the Apple iTunes store
