Importing SMS Files

The SMS Advanced – Software Management section of the course is designed to walk you through getting started with the SMS software, importing data to the software, upgrading the software, migrating data through upgrades, and getting familiar with the SMS interface. This particular video will address how to import SMS .back files into the SMS software for further analysis and manipulation, which is a skill that will be important for completing subsequent tutorials in the course.

Getting Familiar With SMS

The SMS Advanced – Software Management section of the course is designed to walk you through getting started with the SMS software, importing data to the software, upgrading the software, migrating data through upgrades, and getting familiar with the SMS interface. Now that we know how to download SMS, upgrade SMS, and load SMS files into the program, it’s time to get familiar with the SMS interface. Being familiar with where certain elements of the program are located in the interface will help to speed up progress in the tutorials for the course. In this video we will cover the primary components of the SMS interface, while the tutorials will provide more in-depth training for using some of the more specific features of the program.
