Project description:

Various topics have been and are currently being addressed including N rates, starter fertilizer use, row-cleaning, and alternative nutrient management products.

Key results:

Recommendations for N rates were revised for sorghum following soybean in rotation and now include a price factor. Starter fertilizer application, sulfur application, and row cleaning often resulted in increased early growth but did not affect yield.
