Ethonol and Distillers Feeding Program Feb. 19

“Ethanol – The Impact and Opportunities It Has for Nebraskans” will be the theme of a Feb. 19 Farmers and Ranchers College program at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds in Geneva. Speakers will include specialists from UNL, USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, the Nebraska Ethanol Board, and an ethanol plant. A bus tour of the Advanced BioEnergy Ethanol Plant in Fairmont also is a program option.

Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the program will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Preregistration is appreciated for a meal count. Please call the Fillmore County Extension office at (402) 759-3712 by Feb. 15 to preregister.
