Making Crop Marketing and Insurance Decisions

With the crop insurance sign-up deadline quickly approaching for the 2007 crop season, producers may want to check out information presented in a videoconference this week: Making Crop Marketing and Insurance Decisions. Final spring base prices were estalished March 1. This workshop covers

seasonal crop price trends for corn, soybeans and wheat;
corn, soybean and wheat yield and acreage trends;
crop supply, demand and price outlook for the 2007-08 marketing year;
pre-harvest crop marketing strategies;
the use of crop insurance products with pre-harvest marketing strategies; and
tips for producers developing strategies for success in 2007 and beyond.
