Market Journal: Estimating the Cost of Winter Grazing

On the December 7 Market Journal Matt Stockton, extension agricultural economist, talks with host Doug Jose about how producers can use the
Corn Stalk Graizing Calculator to determine if corn stalk acres leased are adequate to support the number and size of cattle planned for the grazing season. Calculations made using this Excel ® spreadsheet also include the cost to transport and monitor the animals. This braodcast is available on the Market Journal Web site.
