Irrigation Field Day Aug. 29 near Bruning

The Nebraska Ag Water Management Demonstration Network (NAWMDN) will be hosting a field day August 29 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. near Bruning.

Speakers will include Daryl Andersen with the Little Blue NRD, and Brandy VanDeWalle, Extension Educator in Fillmore County.

Speakers will address their research and experience in the Little Blue NRD using soil moisture sensors and an ET gage for irrigation scheduling.

Directions: The site is 1.5 miles west of Nebraska 53 on Hwy 4 or 8.5 miles east of Bruning on Hwy 4.
