Dean Yonts, Extension Irrigation Specialist at Panhandle Research and Extension Center in Scottsbluff, will speak at 3:15 p.m. Friday in the Bluestem Room of the Center at 4502 Avenue I, Scottsbluff.
According to Yonts, Nebraska water users are making significant changes in how they manage their irrigation water. These changes are having important impacts on both surface and ground water users. This seminar will focus on understanding how Nebraska's water resources are being used, the impact drought hason water management, and how producers can sustain acceptable production levels with limited water resources.
