Market Journal to examine Medicare drug program

Judy Weber, UNL Extension educator, and Jina Ragland, Director of the SHIIP program of the Nebraska Department of Insurance, talk with host Doug Jose on getting information about the new Medicare drug program on this week's Market Journal.

Trained volunteers are available in Nebraska communities to help individuals select the drug plan that best fits their situation. The current signup period end May 15 but there is an open enrolment period from Nov 15 to December 31 when the plan can be changed.

Market Journal -- UNL Extension's television for ag business decisions -- is hosted by UNL Extension Ag Economist Doug Jose and broadcast Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on Dish Network NAUHS 9411 and Time Warner Cable Channel 21 in Lincoln; Saturdays at 7 a.m. on NET1; and Sundays at 9 a.m. on NET2.
