Certified Crop Advisors can earn the following credits at these meetings: Soil and Water Management, two, Nutrient Management, one; Crop Management, one; and Pest Management., one. Participants must provide their crop advisor number at the meeting to receive credit.
The workshops, presented by UNL extension specialists and educators, will help improve corn and soybean yields and profits. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the first presentation at 9:15 a.m. The workshops will conclude at 3 p.m.
Each workshop will address topics of statewide interest as well as presentations targeted to local issues. Topics include: Cropping Systems Decisions, What Does Tillage Cost?, Planting and Drilling In Heavy Crop Residues, Weed Control, Reducing Crop Water Use, Controlling Your Fertilizer Costs, Managing Your Seed Costs, and Problem Corn and Soybean Insects and Diseases in 2007.
