UNL Weed Science Field Days June 19-21

UNL weed scientists will be hosting field days at four research and demonstration field sites in June. The public is invited to view field plots and review weed management options for Nebraska crops.

Locations, dates and tour highlights are:

  • Lincoln, UNL Havelock Farm at Havelock and 84th streets, June 19, 8:30 a.m. — Weed control in rainfed corn, soybean, and sorghum
  • Clay Center, UNL South Central Agriculture Laboratory at 851 Highway 6, June 19, 2:00 p.m. — Weed control in irrigated corn, soybean, and sorghum
  • Sidney, UNL's High Plains Ag Lab northwest of Sidney, June 20, 1:30 p.m. — Weed control in dryland winter wheat
  • Scottsbluff, Panhandle Research and Extension Center at 4502 Ave I, June 21, 8:30 a.m.— Weed control in irrigated corn, sugarbeets, alfalfa, and dry beans
