CNMP Workshops in January and February

UNL's Comprehensive Nutrient Management Planning team will be hosting several workshops for producers this January and February. These programs can be used to meet various NDEQ certification requirements for manure management.

January 7 — Land Application Training Workshop
Platte County Courthouse in Columbus, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This workshop is for producers who have no prior training in manure management and are required by their Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) permit to complete an approved training. To preregister call Larry Howard at 402-372-6006.

January 9 — Land Application Training Workshop
Keith County Fairgrounds in Ogallala, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This workshop is for producers who have no prior training in manure management and are required by their NDEQ permit to complete approved training. To preregister call Tom Holman at 308-632-1480.

January 18 — Land Application Updates Workshop
Available via distance education at home or office and at many extension offices, 10 a.m. to noon
This workshop is for producers who have completed the initial Land Application Training and need to re-certify to comply with their NDEQ permit. Visit http://cnmp.unl.edu or call Leslie Johnson at 402-584-3818 to learn more.

February 26 — Land Application Updates Workshop
