June 21st – July 2nd

Goss’s bacterial wilt and leaf blight continues to show up in samples from central and southeast Nebraska. The majority of the samples received in the Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic were affected only by the leaf blight phase of the disease. Only one sample was confirmed to have the systemic wilt phase of the disease.
