Farmers and Ranchers College Addresses Current Ag Issues - UNL CropWatch. Oct. 24, 2012

The Farmers and Ranchers College will host four workshops this fall and winter to help producers learn about and respond to current issues in agriculture. This year’s events include:

  • Landowner/Tenant Lease Workshop on November 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fairmont Legion, Fairmont.|
     
  • Agriculture: What’s Around the Corner and Down the Road on December 10 at 1 p.m. at the Bruning Opera House, Bruning, featuring David Kohl, professor emeritus, Virginia Tech University Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics.
     
  • Partners in Progress — Beef Seminar on January 22 at 10 a.m. at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center.
     
  • Keeping Your Farm in the Family for the Next Generation on March 14 at 6 p.m., at Evening with Friends, Milligan, featuring Ron Hanson, professor, UNL Department of Agricultural Economics.
