The York County Corn Growers will host a plot tour Aug. 25 east of York. Stops will include the York Corn Variety Plot on the Ray and Ron Makovicka Farm (Road 14 between O and P) and the Round Up Ready® Soybean Plot Tour on the Jerry Stahr Farm (Road P south of Road 14).

Participants can tour the plots and visit with seed company representatives.  Following the plot tour there will be a pork sandwich meal and updates on

• the 2011 Plot Report/Farming Practices work
• the soil water, ET tools, and NAWMN report.
